Axolotl Cave – Clay Tunnel curved
Our curved tunnel offers a little variety in the hiding places in the aquarium. When observing the animals, both exits can be seen at the same time. This relatively shallow tunnel meets the animals’ need for safety, because axolotls like it shady and narrow.
This cave shape was developed in cooperation with breeders for the needs of axolotls. Like almost all our Axolotl caves, this model is also available in eight different colours.
But tunnels of this design are also ideally suited for other ornamental fish and invertebrates in our aquariums, such as catfish, loaches or larger crayfish.
Due to its shape, this cave can be placed in the aquarium in a reasonably space-saving way, e.g. it fits well in a corner.
At 1090 °C, the axolotl burrows become very hard and durable products. They can easily be boiled for disinfection purposes or placed in the oven at high heat.
Each tunnel is unique, colour variations are desired and intended.

With all the hiding places we offer for axolotls, we attach great importance to injury-free surfaces and entrances, so that as a rule no finishing work by you is necessary.
