If you want to set up a large catfish tank, you are often faced with the challenge of creating a sensible structure for a large floor area.
With our new rock landscape, you can create a varied cave area at different heights with different entrance or exit openings with just one piece.
Made of the natural material clay, the dark hiding place fits very well into an aquarium landscape designed with plants. However, you can just as easily add stones and caves around it and create a purely rocky habitat, depending on your taste and the requirements of the animals to be kept.
Each rockscape is made by hand, so cut-outs and shapes vary slightly.
Sufficient openings distributed over the entire piece guarantee water movement within the rockscape, so nothing accumulates.
We use stoneware clay for the production of our clay articles, which can be highly fired and contains a varying proportion of fireclay depending on the product.
On the one hand, this makes our products very stable and durable.
On the other hand, this means that the surfaces are never completely smooth, which provides an excellent basis for surface growth, which in turn is very readily grazed by the catfish.
