Stone cave ,Robin’ made of clay
With different sizes and colours, we offer your aquarium and terrarium inhabitants such as catfish, perches, small lizards or even mice or dwarf hamsters a beautiful hiding place with our new stone caves made of clay, which fits wonderfully into a naturally furnished tank.
All our caves are handmade, air-dried and then cleaned and sanded to remove any corners or edges.
As all clay caves are made by hand, variations in colouring and dimensions may occur, as each is an incomparably unique piece.
We use stoneware clay for the production of our clay articles, which can be high-fired and contains a varying proportion of fireclay depending on the product.
On the one hand, this makes our products very stable and durable.
On the other hand, the surfaces are never completely smooth, which provides an excellent basis for surface growth, which in turn is very readily grazed by catfish or shrimps.

If you need a specific entrance size, i.e. a minimum or maximum dimension, please let us know when you place your order or send us an e-mail.
We will then see if we have a suitable cave in stock or, if necessary, make one with your desired entrance dimensions.
If you would like to use this stone cave model as a cichlid breeding cave with the entrance in the cave ceiling instead of below, this is also possible.
