Description
Shrimp trunk for the Nano-Aquarium
This shrimp trunk made of clay is about 18 cm high and has a diameter of about 1.5 cm.
The reproduction of a tree trunk is a popular place for shrimp. They search there for food and rest. You can watch them up close and personal. A shrimp trunk decoratively extends the area available for shrimp to climb, hide and graze on surfaces. Mosses can be easily tied up and the openings distributed in the trunk allow planting with e.g. java fern or small anubias.
Conveniently positioned, the small inhabitants can be easily observed with the help of a shrimp trunk. They search there for food and rest.
The shrimp trunk stands on a sturdy and stable base. Several small openings were made in the hollow trunk itself and the surface was given a grain.
Due to its porous surface it is ideal for mosses, because after some time under favourable light and water conditions it will be completely overgrown.
The clay products of Aquakeramik are handmade and modelled. Design and details are based on the natural habitat environments. Each shrimp trunk is unique. Colour deviations are desired and intended.
