Caves and hiding places

Axolotls need places to retreat to - not only to relax, but also to feel safe and comfortable. Caves, tunnels or simple hiding places provide structure in the aquarium and are important for species-appropriate husbandry.

Our axolotl caves have been developed together with experienced breeders and keepers - specially adapted to the particular requirements of these fascinating tailed amphibians.

Like all our products, these hiding places are also handmade. During production, we pay particular attention to clean, smooth surfaces without edges or burrs - so as not to injure the sensitive skin of your animals.
