Feeding aids for the aquarium

Feeding rod or planting rod made of clay

You can use our clay rod as a feeding rod and attach slices of cucumber or lettuce leaves to it or, when used as a planting rod, tie on mosses, for example. The rod can be positioned horizontally or at an angle in the aquarium or upright by sticking it into the substrate. This allows you to create a small underwater forest in a nano aquarium, for example.

When used as a feeding rod, you can attach a fishing line to the attached hole and then retrieve the empty clay rod without having to reach into the water. This means that the water is not unnecessarily polluted, the stress factor for the animals caused by reaching in is eliminated and your arms stay dry. You can also keep a close eye on your aquarium inhabitants if they are placed correctly.

All clay products are handmade and modelled. Each feeding stick/plant stick is unique. Colour variations are desired and intended.

Clay feeding hooks

With this feeding hook, cucumber slices, salad leaves or other vegetables can be easily placed on the ground and offered to your animals. No more fiddling around with spoons, forks or other objects to keep the vegetables on the ground.

Ideally, you can attach a fishing line to the attached hole and then retrieve the empty clay hook without having to reach into the water. This means that the water is not unnecessarily polluted, the stress factor for the animals caused by reaching in is eliminated and your arms stay dry. You can also keep a close eye on your aquarium inhabitants if you position them correctly.

Clay feeding bowls

Feeding bowls are often used when feeding granules, pastes or vegetables.

On the one hand, you can limit the distribution of the food in the tank a little, and on the other hand you can observe your animals better when they are eating.

If the substrate is coarser (e.g. larger gravel), food can easily disappear into the gaps. In such cases, a food bowl can help to avoid wasting food and unnecessarily polluting the water with leftover food.
