Clay caves and hiding places are part of the basic equipment in many aquariums. They offer protection, retreats and spawning grounds for a wide variety of inhabitants - from L-catfish, shrimps and dwarf crayfish to snails and small perch.

All our hiding places are made from fired clay suitable for aquariums. The material is water-neutral, durable and robust, with a surface that can be colonised by beneficial bacteria - a plus for the biological balance in the tank.

Whether simple tubes, shallow caves, stone imitations or decorative structures - there is a large selection to choose from, so there is something suitable for every animal species and every aquarium. The animals feel safer, display more natural behaviour and have the opportunity to form territories or retreat when stressed.
