Ideal for plants that do not take root in the substrate and prefer to grow on branches or roots or other such as anubias or java ferns.
The clay is rough and thus provides the best support for growing plants. The tube, which is open at the bottom, can easily be sunk into the substrate so that it is supported but still protrudes a good distance.
