belongs in almost every aquarium, because
as decoration a natural looking design of the aquarium is possible
it has been preserved in the bog by processes lasting thousands of years and therefore does not rot in the aquarium
it slowly releases humic substances into the water and thus supports the natural microfauna in the aquarium
for most L-catfish it is an essential part of their diet
Moors are NOT drained for the extraction of bog roots. Bog roots are a by-product or rather "waste" product of peat extraction.
Are you looking for the right root for your tank? Just send us an e-mail with your ideas how the root should look like and how big it should be. We will then pick out suitable pieces and photograph them. Then you can use the photos to decide which root best suits your aquarium or terrarium. Of course you can also make your choice here on site. Just contact us for an appointment.
At the moment we only have very large pieces for self-collection or shipping by forwarding agency
A nice alternative to smaller bogwood roots is Spiderwood.
